His scientific interests are the Sun, solar flares, acceleration of solar cosmic rays; interplanetary space, heliosphere; solar-terrestrial relations, space weather, heliobiology. He has written approximately 250 publications, including 11 books on solar cosmic rays and solar-terrestrial relations.
