OverviewAgriculture has been undergoing major changes, including the introduction of synthetic chemical products, the use of more sophisticated machinery, a reduction in crop diversification and the emergence of larger, more specialized producers. Consequently, the evolution of the relationship between man and the environment has led to environmental imbalances and, as a result, the need to sustain the basic cycles that guarantee life on earth.
