Most baby yarns offer a color or two that may be considered an 'adult' color - mine is an ombre type yarn with soft greys, coral and white (Hobby Lobby Baby Bee). The colors are not stripey, but create a 'splochy' fabric. To me, it looks ok, and says, 'handmade' with love for sure.
