Sofie Duran was fictional character on the daytime soap opera As the World Turns. The role was originated by Justine Cotsonas on July 30, 2007. From the character's premiere until February 2008, the character was played on a recurring basis; since March 2008, Cotsonas had been a contract player. She was killed by an injection of morphine by Cole Norbeck on July 2, 2008. She later appeared as a ghost after Meg Snyder Ryan was poisoned by Rick Decker. Her last air date was August 11, 2008.
