That simple ""Thank You"" is like magic. It introduces Sofía and her mom to a whole bunch of new people, new places and new things they never would have discovered without gratitude! B.B. Bowen was the first name given to Stuart Watson who was placed in foster care as an infant and adopted four months later. Stuart was an award winning investigative reporter for more than three decades, winning ten Emmys, three Peabody Awards and a Nieman Fellowship to Harvard. He and his wife Lorraine have four grown kids. He has read many, many children's books to them but this is the first children's book he has written! Liza Donovan is a Graphic Designer and Illustrator living in Durham, North Carolina. Sofia Loves Tortillas is her 2nd illustrated children's book along with Molly the Manatee, by Chic Cariaga. Liza is also an Art Activist using her skills for various causes, most notably in the 2017 Women's March on Washington, where her poster, Hear Our Voice, was chosen as one of the official posters.
