Overview

This book is a synthesis of original theory and established ideas, evaluated from the research of the existing bodies of knowledge. The author's investigation showed that many future thinkers and philosophers have seriously considered the impact of powerful, charismatic, images of the future have on the future of a society. In addition, the investigation revealed that images of the future are at work within a society and that they affect individuals and groups in ways that determine the shape of the future of the society. However, he could find no research, besides his own, that considered how these powerful images of the future might impact the current socioeconomic health of the society. This concept was the original hypothesis that he presented in his master's thesis and is now offering in this book. The author added additional insights to his original master's thesis but the objective here is not to present to you a pristine copy of the thesis, but to demonstrate that a society's image of the future can have a dramatic impact on the current socioeconomic health of the society.
