Mark Mazower es autor de En la Grecia de Hitler, Continente oscuro: El siglo XX en Europa, Los Balcanes --obra que ganó el Wolfson Prize de Historia--, Salónica, ciudad de los fantasmas, galardonada con el Runciman Prize y el Duff Cooper Prize, así como Sobre el antisemitismo. Ha sido profesor en la Universidad de Sussex, Princeton y el Birkbeck College de la Universidad de Londres. Actualmente es profesor de Historia en la Universidad de Columbia, donde continúa investigando y escribiendo sobre la historia europea contemporánea, consolidándose como una de las voces más influyentes en el análisis histórico del siglo XX. He has taught at the University of Sussex, Princeton, and Birkbeck College at the University of London. He is currently a Professor of History at Columbia University, where he continues to research and write about contemporary European history, establishing himself as one of the most influential voices in the study of the twentieth century.
