Ron Bidwell has been married to Marilyn for over 25 years, father to a blended family of five children, 13 wonderful grandchildren and a great-grandfather to 2 beautiful little girls. He and Marilyn live in Northern Idaho along with Ron's 101 year old dad, a poodle named Jackson, and a little toy mix named Peanut. If there was a calling that forever sparks Ron's passion it is teaching. Upon graduating from college his heart's desire was to become a school teacher which he accomplished through hard work and the help of some very caring and long-suffering teachers who encouraged him along the way. For over 50 years, Ron has been a teacher of youth as a public school teacher, substitute teacher, and as a Christian youth worker, etc. Today, at the age of 70, he is still substitute teaching in the local school district. The district staff, teachers, and students love him. His humor will keep you laughing and his stories tell it like it is. One day he may even get around to retirement but then he would miss hanging out with all those super people you meet as a surviving substitute teacher. He is one of a kind!
