Author Information

Margaret Angiel is a retired pre-school teacher from New York who has experienced the joys and challenges of both coastal and off-shore cruising for over 30 years. She began on a 16' snipe on the Hudson River in the Catskill Mountains, and within a few short months she set sail on a 4,000 mile trip on a 31 ' Irwin. The journey took her on the intracoastal to Miami, Florida and the Bahamas. Her continued boating adventures with her husband have taken her back to Florida for extensive cruising in the Bahamas and in the Caribbean. Their 43' Columbia is now what she now calls home. Her diverse interests include sailing, nature, photography, and cooking, but come together to provide her with a meaningful vehicle for her writing.
