So wie Paula

Overview

Covergestaltung nach einer Zeichnung von Jörg Kasimir Illustrationen im Innenteil: Ghadah Kamal Just like Paula After her mother's death, a woman comes to Worpswede to find her inheritance, a portrait of her great-grandmother that Paula Modersohn-Becker supposedly painted. The artists' village and the morbid charm of its moorland exert a mysterious attraction on her; an unreal atmosphere hangs over the place. When searching for the missing painting, she gradually uncovers her family history and, in dreams and visions, repeatedly finds connections to Paula Modersohn-Becker - and to herself. Cover design based on a drawing by Jörg Kasimir Interior artwork: Ghadah Kamal
