Isaiah and Lillie M. Entzminger. Evangelist Williams has endured many years of affliction. She suffered with polio for 16 years until she was healed by the power of God, never wavering in her faith or her music ministry which began when she was approximately nine years old. She has performed as the featured artist in The Bicentennial Celebration for the United States in Washington, DC. She has opened for such artists as Shirley Caesar, The Blind Boys, The Nightingales, Pastor Donnie McClurkin, Luther Barnes and many others. This dedicated and talented Woman of God has come into her own with a powerful release entitled Higher, which has been rated thirteen and fifteen, consecutively, on the charts in Gospel USA Magazine 2010. In the 2010 Virginia State Bluegrass Festival, Barbara was selected as Third Place Female Vocalist of the Year. Her CD Higher and Barbara was nominated for the 2012 Texas Gospel Music Excellence Award in Houston, TX, and nominated for the 2014 Award.
