Overview

A fantastic story about the adventures of a white cat named SnowFlower. SnowFlower's future self, ShadowFlower, requests that she enter the Land of Shadows to assist in undoing a mysterious blockage preventing ShadowFlower from proceeding to her next life. SnowFlower refuses, knowing there is no return from the Land of Shadows. Still, she is thrown into the Rain Pool of Death by a lightning flash from ShadowFlower's friend, the Dragon of the ThunderStorm. SnowFlower then finds she must leave her body with Snake, the Guardian of the Gateway, to the Land of Shadows. Snake allows her to pass, saying that she may return only if she succeeds in helping ShadowFlower. So SnowFlower enters the Land of Shadows, not knowing if she can retrieve her body, not knowing if she will be allowed to return to the Land of the Living, and not knowing if she is alive or dead.
