Overview

A fabulously funny story, inspired by the much-loved classic character, from two giants of children’s books! “Mirror, mirror on the wall. Where is the cuddliest teddy of all?” Snow White has lost her teddy bear. Taking the magic talking mirror from the wall, she sets off into the forest to find him, where – one after another – she makes friends with some real bears! The bears offer to help Snow White, but they are much more interested in having fun – will she ever find her teddy? A delightfully funny story packed full of boisterous bears! From Michael Rosen, the highly regarded author of We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, comes this wonderful story inspired by the famous fairy tale, brilliantly brought to life by David Melling, the creator of Hugless Douglas.

Initially he became known in the children’s book world for making poetry fun and accessible to thousands of children through collections like Quick, Let’s Get Out of Here and Don’t put Mustard in the Custard. Michael has devoted his life to entertaining children with his writing and performances and to informing teachers, librarians, parents, publishers and government agencies of the importance of supporting children’s books. David Melling grew up in London with various siblings and a selection of animals, including a dog. It took him a while to decide what he wanted to do, but he never stopped drawing.
