Author Information

Laura Purdie Salas is the author of more than one hundred books for children, including Water Can Be... and If You Were the Moon. Poetry and rhyming nonfiction books are her favorite things to write. For more information, visit laurasalas.com. Peter Noble is an experienced audiobook narrator. Born in South Africa, he was dragged by hippie musicians from his idyllic childhood, where he ran barefoot through rich and matted grass with his dog Bartok, to vegetarian communes from California to India via Lisbon, London, and Findhorn. He picked up a wide range of authentic local accents and character voices along the way. Claudine Gévry has always loved books and drawing, which naturally led her to the best job on earth: children's book illustrator. She has illustrated many books and is at her happiest when painting cute animals or lush plants. She currently resides between the mountains and the ocean in Vancouver, British Columbia. Stephanie Einstein is an experienced narrator and actress. She earned her bachelor's degree in acting from Wright State University, where she was awarded the Tom Hanks Scholarship, and she studied improvisation with the Upright Citizens Brigade. A Georgia native, she currently resides in Los Angeles, where she performs sketch comedy at The Ruby on Sunset Boulevard.
