Liz Dobbs, formerly editor-in-chief of Gardens Monthly magazine in the UK, is the author of many gardening books including Growing Your Own Vegetables, Tools for Gardeners, Tulip, Short Cuts to Great Gardens, Your Garden Makeover, and Garden Design Techniques. Liz lives in a village on the outskirts of London with her husband and three daughters. Her small but sunny patio garden provided both the inspiration and the perfect testing ground for this book.
