Author Information

Jermaine Ross is an emerging playwright based in Atlanta, GA. He is the author of Moon Hot, The War Machine is Dead, and Sweet Lou Hudson. His stories focus on what it means to be working class in an era where two jobs can't guarantee a roof over one's head. The recurring question in all of his plays is How do our lives connect to the lives that came before us, before our parents, and the lives throughout the community in which we live? When not writing plays, Jermaine is a dad, uncle of four, and a professional math nerd. A couple of times a year, you can find him lecturing high school and community college students around Atlanta on why they should avoid for-profit colleges.
