Juliette Duncan never disappoints. This is another beautifully written Christian Romance that inspires and uplifts the reader. It is all about family, Faith, healing, and growth. Can't wait to read more about this lovely family. Their story must continue!! Sharon M Juliette Duncan continues on with her story in Goddard downs. Each book gets better and better and I'm looking forward to continue reading the series. Very heart warming story. Cyndi I have loved every one of the books in this series but I believe this is the best one yet. I love the key themes running through this story of family, loss, grief, fear, second chances, finding ones place in life, finding strength in God and forgiveness. This story picks up where the last one ended after the loss of a beloved son. Now we get to walk with the Goddard family as they process their grief each in different ways. One of my favorite quotes had to do with loss. ""Loss wasn't something you got over quickly, like a common cold. It was a series of waves so strong at first you think you're going to drown, and just when you think you'll survive, another one comes from nowhere and dumps on you. Gradually however the waves cease, and you survive."" I found this to be try in my life as well. And the best part is God at work in each life and heart, healing, mending, making whole and guiding. I love how the various characters turn to pray at random points in their lives and how the prayers are embedded in the story. For I found that their prayers mirrored my own hurts, struggles and questions. Such a good read. Cant wait for the next one.D. Chatley This book is the next installment in the saga of the Goddard family. It is so well written. You feel like you are right there with the family going through their pain and their joy. The author is wonderful with helping you to feel like you are part of the family. The family isn't perfect, but through their faith and their love, they have been able to tackle many obstacles. I would recommend reading the books in order, so you can follow along with the characters. But, the book is a stand alone. I just think you need to read this book. It's wonderful. Mary S
