Overview

'Slim Or No Chance' is an anthology of seven short stories. They all have a twist you were not expecting. The title tale is set in England and features the daughter of her gangster father flying off with her in his private plane. A surprise pilot takes control, and he really takes control of the situation! Book 2 is the strange tale of the deaths of several of the village's children. But how does this affect the lives of our hero and his wife? Would you believe a playground plaything could hold a deadly secret? Boys find out. The Viking Visit concerns a young lady whose life is unsettled. It becomes more unsettled as she sees or imagines flames. A London thug disappears. Locals are unworried as everybody hates him. But the cause of his vanishing is disturbing. The book ends with a school trip to the seaside. Bullies suffer horribly!
