JIMMY RUMSEY works with at-promise youth in California's Santa Ana Unified School District as a Restorative Practice Intervention Specialist. His own life experiences with a dysfunctional family, incarceration, violence, and gangs have helped him serve as a positive mentor to youth who have endured similar life circumstances. He is highly respected in the community for his commitment to helping others heal from their own life traumas. His wife, Tasha, stood beside him as he went from being a risk to himself and others to being a valuable contributor to his community. Jimmy is also a devoted father of five children.
