Skipper's Stories: Moving On Skipper, a beagle dog, must adjust to changes in his family - moving to a new house and sharing his life with his new human baby brother Billy. Skipper vies for his place in the family, helping to care for Billy, while having to compromise his comforts for his new brother. Skipper becomes the protector of the baby and his family home. He tells us ""Dogs are important, you know!"" Written and illustrated by Shirley Shoub, Skipper's Stories: Moving On takes us through some of Skipper's and his brothers' growing up years. Skipper surmises that although he and Ezra are ""almost twins,"" it's his brother Billy with whom he shares the most similarities - with a penchant to run off and get into mischief. Skipper's Stories: Moving On is a story about navigating change, growing up and realizing the important role each plays in one's family. A grandmother of five, Shirley has now become an author and hand illustrator of her children's picture book series: Skipper's Stories Skipper's Stories: Almost Twins Skipper's Stories: Moving On Shirley presents Story Time of her books to children. For this series, Shirley has to thank their family beagle dog Skipper, who gave her so much to write about. Shirley resides in Cote St. Luc, Quebec.
