OverviewMorocco is facing significant emigration of highly qualified professionals, including doctors and IT engineers, with major impacts on the health and technology sectors. The emigration of doctors is leading to a shortage of medical staff, understaffed hospitals and a decline in the quality of care. Similarly, the exodus of IT engineers reduces local expertise and affects the country's competitiveness. This book analyzes the motivations of these professionals to leave Morocco, through surveys on professional opportunities, working conditions, remuneration, quality of life and career prospects. Correspondence factor analysis was used to identify the main factors driving emigration: better professional prospects, more favorable working conditions, higher salaries and better quality of life. The results highlight the consequences of this emigration on the shortage of professionals and the loss of intellectual capital, and suggest ways to develop policies aimed at retaining this talent.
