Nine different 20"" star blocks, each with instructions in two colourways. A mixture of machine applique and foundation paper piecing. Full size templates are included or you can download them for direct printing. There is a section on both methods which are fully illustrated but may be a little confusing for the beginner. A few tips on foundation paper piecing are given but no mention of reduction of stitch length is made. Each star block has its own page of instructions; one for the cool colour and one for the warm colour. There are no quilting suggestions but the quilting can be seen in many close up images.
