Philip J Ramsey is an industrial statistician with over fifteen years of experience in applying statistical methods to products, processes, and R&D programs, within such diverse industries and disciplines as aerospace, chemicals, metals, microelectronics, automotive, apparel, construction, and general manufacturing. He also has extensive experience with the design and delivery of industrial training courses in statistical process control, design of experiments, and response surface methods for process optimization. Currently he splits his time between industrial consulting and teaching statistics at University of New Hampshire. Marie A. Gaudard is a Professor of Statistics at University of New Hampshire. She has been heavily involved in industrial consulting since 1981, and has worked with a wide variety of industries, including manufacturing, automotive, printing, paper, plastics, and paving companies. She has extensive experience in providing private consultation and training courses for business and industry in statistical methods for quality improvement, statistical process control, and design of experiments.
