Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationWhen Lee Hayward began the race of life on the southern coast of England the pace was, shall we say, brisk! He has lived, worked and travelled in Europe, Asia, Africa and lived in America for almost 20 years, and now in Scotland. He has tasted the rich highs and lows of an entrepreneurial approach to business and life. As the result of an innate desire to communicate with others, Lee originally expressed his observations as a stand-up comedian. He was first inspired to travel by his mother, Tina, a colourful character who embraced the '60s lifestyle with passion and panache. The recurrent truth that has impressed itself on the author throughout his life is that real value is to be found in relationships with others, not in things or places alone. The documentation of his final journey with Tina was embarked upon while Lee was nursing her through terminal illness, largely confined for months within the buttercup-yellow walls of his Mum's kitchen.
