Overview

The town of Salmon River struggles with many drug-related issues. A gang that operates out of the main saloon in town has created a violent atmosphere that becomes an overwhelming influence especially to those that don't want to be a part of this lifestyle. When Alex visits an Army buddy after he being discharged, he meets Kate who works at the Outpost, the main hub of the little town. When he meets Billy her son, he wants to try and help him adjust to the many problems that has overwhelmed the little town. Drugs and a teenage gang have caused him to have problems at school and with other kids his age and some that are older. When a meth fire destroys one of the homes, the creates a disturbing meeting for the town council. Jack who is the mayor, tries to calm the members but no good results come out of the meeting. The town mayor tries to warn them that the DEA may become involved, but this makes it worse with no real solutions to it all. When Alex goes home to Montana to see his family, he also learns his brother has become an addict and his family is suffering in many ways because of this. Although his dad and Alex have tried to persuade Stan to go into a rehab program, Alex feels he must return to Salmon River to save Kate and Billy from a world of drugs and violence.
