Erran self-describes this collection as poetic chronicles that doesn't take longer to read than it takes to listen to an EP album.When presented at Self-Publish Con he explains Although it is a light reader, it is extractions from experiences from one and possibly the most pivotal year of my life. The year that went from secretly dropping out of high school through moving out and experiencing true freedom and independence in my first semester of college, or so i thought. He goes on saying, I believe this is a medium that is fading and this is my call to action as we are being hit with a one-two punch of reality television and time draining applications when simultaneously there is no one telling our kids what they have the opportunity to do. I don't think i'm the deliverer but we are at a crucial point in history with the 1990's children transitioning to running the world and being most comfortable with new media. Someone has to grab the reins or at least acknowledge that there are some and that they can be steered in a progressive direction. Hindsight is the only power we truly have... take a moment and think about what you can do to help yourself when you read. This is the second best on my list. I have to take part in what I wanted to miss. I'm not happy but I am content. --from Second Best
