Now, both teenagers, Ruby and Robert, continue to amaze her and her husband, Adam, with their creativity, individuality, and determination to overcome every obstacle. Sonia considers herself a writer dedicated to creating both fiction and nonfiction for families with children of all ages who have special needs. She is passionate about writing for young readers and has numerous unique and inspiring story ideas. Her husband, Adam, is an alternative Christian musician who performs under the name Beautiful Desert. He also has experience in editing, multimedia, and various other skills.
