Overview

This book was written as a reminder to people to slow down and stop to take a moment to enjoy the little things in life. To step out of their busy paths they are on and look down one a little less traveled. To allow children an opportunity to express and shine. Our hope for this project is to build a library for our school and give back to those other children who are truly in need. Never be afraid to express who you are and don't forget to share the sometimes overlooked Simple Pleasures in your life..... Proceeds of this book will be used to build a library for our Ficus Tree Elementary school as well as donations to a nonprofit organization supplying literature to other children in need. If we all work together we can one day open the book of giving.

After a long time hoping for my project to be completed, the opportunity finally presented itself. It took a move to Costa Rica to arise but, this could not be a more perfect place for Simple Pleasures to be created. For Costa Rica is a land full of simply amazing pleasures and the personalities to appreciate what this beautiful world has to offer. My hopes are to give the children here the inspiration to achieve and the ability to enjoy the simple gifts placed before us. A sense of how the small things in life are what truly makes one happy....
