Overview

A group of friends go on a mission in the Florida Keys to uncover a lost treasure and end up getting more than they bargained for. What happens when a bunch of teens get together at the Florida Keys for an unforgettable summer of Treasure hunting? After obsessing over a history lesson at school, Joshua enlists his two best friends to travel to the Florida Keys for the summer to hunt for the treasure of Our Lady of Atocha, a Spanish treasure galleon and the most widely known vessel of a fleet of ships that sank in a hurricane off the Florida Keys in 1622. Staying up, sneaking out, and searching for a legendary buried treasure is just the beginning of the summer of their lives!

Steve Orlando has written for every major American comic book publisher. He’s received Eisner Award Nominations for OUTLAW TERRITORY (Image Comics), SWEET PAPRIKA: BLACK, WHITE, AND PINK, and RAINBOW BRIDGE (AfterShock Comics), as well as participating in the Eisner-Winning LOVE IS LOVE (IDW Publishing). He’s received a Ringo Award Nomination for RAINBOW BRIDGE (AfterShock Comics), and wrote for the Ringo-Winning DC PRIDE (DC Comics). As well, his MIDNIGHTER and MIDNIGHTER AND APOLLO were both nominated for GLAAD Media Awards. As a localizer, Orlando contributed to SWEET PAPRIKA, winner of a 2022 Harvey Award. Katia Vecchio is an Italian comic artist. She studied comics at the International School of Comics in Rome and debuted in 2019 with the one-shot Wild Strawberries at The World's End (Source Point Press). In 2021 she worked on the graphic novel Painted (Humanoids/Les Humanoïdes Associés).
