Overview

This is the second book in the Silly Billy series and it follows Silly Billy as he takes a trip to the grocery store with his parents. While at the store, Silly Billy is able to count items in the grocery store, ranging from 1 + 1 all the way to 5 + 5. The book uses simple rhyming and phonics to help engage children in pronunciation as well as the addition lesson that they receive while reading this book.

Author Information

Joy is a mother of four, two boys and two girls. She has been happily married since 2010. She decided to become a children's book author because she feels that reading to children at an early age will help them develop a love for reading. Joy was influenced by Dr. Seuss books like The Cat in the Hat and Green Eggs and Ham. She is very passionate about writing and feels that parents and children of all ages will enjoy her books.
