Author Information

W. F. Rogers is a spacecraft systems engineer and program manager. He has been blessed to work with amazingly talented people on a wide range of advanced space vehicles, including the Space Shuttle. Visualizing spacecraft trajectories and attitudes helped him imagine the Primary World described in his novels.Rogers learned to fly airplanes at the age of fourteen. Some of the action in his books is based on his stunt flying experience.The author's favorite subject in school was history, and like most authors, he loves to write. He told The Mirror and the Prism stories to his daughters, one of whom persistently nagged him to publish them. His other daughter acted as a sounding board for ideas, helping him escape corners he had written himself into. He will always be grateful for their help and encouragement.
