Sight Unseen

Overview

The truth can be tricky. Violet Murphy is dreading what will happen once high school ends and her friends leave town for better things. 'The kid who babysat Brady Thomas' is destined to remain in Rock Bay, working the gas stations or the fast-food joints. Then, on her way to meet idol Noah Weston of the local band The Creatures of Habit, a chance encounter leads her to become involved in the town's latest homicide investigation. Her best friend warns her to stay out of it. The police do as well. But Violet has a point to prove. And as she investigates, she begins to suspect there is more to what happened than meets the eye. And that, although seeing may be believing, reality often goes unseen. Perfect for fans of Natasha Preston and Gretchen McNeil, Sight Unseen is a gripping small-town mystery full of ghastly goings-on that will leave you question everything you see. Or don't see. Sight Unseen is Book 3 in the Rock Bay Mystery series.

Author Information

ROGER WOLFE spent his early years surviving in the shadows of Rock Bay, a windswept, weather-beaten whistle stop in the northwestern corner of British Columbia. He then managed to escape to Vancouver Island, where he taught creative writing to young adults for over thirty years. He currently haunts the streets of Saanich, spending the majority of his waking hours conjuring up spooky stories inspired by the cast of characters he's had the pleasure-and displeasure-of having met, his current obsession with true crime and his own adolescent misadventures all those years ago.
