Author Information

Signe Damron is a poet and writer based in Columbus, Ohio, and the founder of Signe-ture Publishing, a micro-press dedicated to original literary work and collaborative, cross-disciplinary projects. Her published works include French Doorto Foyer and Coalescence: A Holiday Collection, a multi-author, multi-genre anthology. Her writing is complemented by a commitment to literary community-building through programs such as a monthly writers group and a seven-week writers roundtable. She is a recipient of the Greater Columbus Arts Council Artist Excellence Award and grant. In addition to her literary work, she coaches and volunteers with Special Olympics and draws ongoing inspiration from shared experiences, meaningful conversation, and the arts. Marcus is a self-taught mixed media visual artist and digital illustrator born in Cincinnati, Ohio, raised in Rochester, New York, and currently lives in Columbus, Ohio. His interests, rooted in storytelling traditions and focused on the creation of expressionistic abstracted and figurative images, explore and depict themes and ideas of Afro Surrealism, mythology/ folklore, dreams, symbolism, and social commentary. His works have been featured in a variety of exhibitions and publications. Currently represented by The Halley Gallery of New Albany, Ohio, Marcus is a self-described comic book nerd, a skilled but disgruntled ex-musician, a fledgling would-be poet, and the proud father of his two adult sons.
