She is a side-saddle judge, senior examiner, successful competitor, and the only advanced level instructor in Scotland. She is the Side-Saddle Association's area chairman for N. Scotland, a member of the council for over ten years, and official historian. She has written numerous articles on side-saddle equitation and general horse topics for various magazines.
