Authors Bio & Message Shakirah Holloway born and raised in Philadelphia, the author of Shy Sky Tries Series. My passion for reading started at a young age when my older sister would read me stories and act out each character or adventure perfectly. This allowed me to open up my own imagination and explore what my own creative writing Journey would look like. I created Shy Sky Tries to encourage young readers to never give up and try new things even if you may feel nervous, scared, or even if the odds are against you. My hope is to promote reading in the morning with a motivational start to the day. I hope you and your children are able to explore new adventures with Skylar.
