Vijaya Bodach is a scientist-turned-children's writer, born and raised in India, where she first fell in love with numbers, math, and patterns. Vijaya has never been bored. She lives in a world of stories and music in Charleston, South Carolina, with one darling husband, two naughty cats, and too many books she can't wait to share with her grandchildren. Nayantara Surendranath is an illustrator, animator, and founder of Studio Pastelstew, a socially conscious design studio that partners with impact-driven organizations. Based in Goa, her work explores themes of mental health, gender, and socio-cultural issues through visual communication. She has worked with publishers including Karadi Tales, Pickle Yolk Books, Reycraft Books, and NGOs like Kalpavriksh. When she's not working, she's learning new things and teaching her dog, Bear, new tricks.
