Reviews

""Shuffle Off to Buffalo is a fun, energetic and joyful book. My three and five year old granddaughters were enchanted. Their other grandma lives in Buffalo so they think the book was written just for them! Pure joy."" Susan M, Teacher, Grandma, Producer of children's television and books

Author Information

Mika Samuelle was born and raised in NYC where she grew up among artists, authors, and musicians. One could always find her journaling, singing, or dancing. Mika studied theater in London and then began working behind the scenes for off-Broadway plays, Broadway musicals, and operas in Italy. Her artistic journey was illuminated while working with the New York City Ballet, inspiring the creation of stories written backstage in the wings that interweave music and art. Mika currently lives in New Jersey and continues to find joy in the rhythm of life with her husband, two daughters, and tap dancing. She is also the author of ""Peter Plumber's Perfect Plan."" Vera Bogachenko was born in Ukraine to the family of a Baptist pastor. As a child, she admired her children's Bible with its colorful pictures. She thought it was miraculous that pictures could tell stories so beautifully! Vera started drawing anywhere and everywhere: with her fingers on a dusty car, in the margins of her notebooks. When she grew up, she studied Design and Art at the University. As her creativity evolved, she mastered digital illustration which appealed to her love of technology. Vera and her husband live in California and raise a son and two daughters, her biggest fans! She is also the illustrator of ""Peter Plumber's Perfect Plan.""
