Eddy Houchins was born with a pencil in his hand. Maybe that is why his mother said it hurt so much! When he found out at age 4 that real people animated the cartoons he loved to watch so much, he decided there and then to become an animator. Over the last 40 years he has worked for Nelvana, Universal, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, and The Walt Disney Company and many others. Eddy has been nominated for an Emmy for his work five times and has won once. He lives in Los Angeles California where he still works in animation, does illustration, and plays traditional Irish music. ""Shreddy and Bleu ""Sleigh"" Christmas"" is his first published piece.
