Author Information

Dr. Alvin Shifflett, a native of Virginia's Shenandoah Valley, is an esteemed author and pastor. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Bridgewater College, a Master of Divinity from Ashland Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Divinity from a consortium of Ohio seminaries. Dr. Shifflett has published seven books, including his latest, Lowcountry Biblical Almanac, available on Amazon. Currently, he pastors two Independent Methodist Churches in Ridgeland and Tillman, South Carolina, where he resides. He is a proud father of two, with his daughter living in Bluffton, SC, and his son in Manassas, VA. His recent work is Shotgun Granny & Jesus.
