Straightforward, informative guidebook for shoe people. As a footwear designer, I found this book extremely helpful; it covers all sorts of materials you can think of for footwear. With lots of photo references and straightforward messages, the book is easy to understand; it is a great guide for fashion professionals, students and also for people who want to understand the shoes a bit more. Clear, easy to understand, lots of diagrams. For someone like me who has never designed a single shoe, it's very clear and easy to understand. The pictures and how they are labelled make it very engaging, I could easily see it being used a textbook in a shoe making curriculum. All in all, very educational. Would recommend to anyone who wants to learn about shoe-making.
