Overview

Shmuel's grandfather taught Shmuel how to read from the Torah. From the time he had his Bar Mitzvah, Shmuel read the Torah almost every Shabbat in Shul. When he had his first grandson, he was so excited to teach him how to read from the Torah just as his grandfather had taught him. But then Shmuel got sick and knew that he wouldn't live long enough to teach him. This is the true story of how Shmuel was able to continue the tradition of a grandfather teaching his grandson how to read Torah, written by his daughter and grandsons. All proceeds from the book will be going to brain cancer research.

Rivka Bresler is a fourth grade teacher who has always dreamed of writing a book. She teamed with her sons as her illustrators to write this book as part of her son's Bar Mitzvah project. Throughout her life, she was inspired by her father and wanted to share her inspiration with others.
