Author Information

Heidi McKinnon is a childen's book author and illustrator based in sunny Melbourne, Australia, where she lives with her partner Seamus, daughter Ava, and their very lazy cat Pepé. Her books include I Just Ate My Friend, Baz & Benz, and There's No Such Thing and have been shortlisted for numerous awards, including the Children's Book Council Book of the Year Awards. When she is not writing stories or drawing pictures, Heidi enjoys reading, binge-watching her favorite TV shows, and photography--although most of her pictures feature her cat asleep.
