Author Information

Fr. Thaddaeus Lancton was born as the youngest son to a Catholic family of five on February 22, 1987 in Houston, TX. He had two childhood dreams: becoming an Air Force pilot and an astronaut, and becoming a priest. Having lost grandparents and parents during his youth, he learned from a young age to pray for the souls in Purgatory. After attending Strake Jesuit for high school, he entered the Jesuit novitiate for one year in 2005. After leaving, he entered the Marians of the Immaculate Conception in 2007. He has obtained a BA in Philosophy at Franciscan University of Steubenville, a Masters in Psychology from the Divine Mercy University, and a Doctorate in Sacred Theology from the John Paul II Catholic University in Lublin, Poland. Since he has a gift for learning and speaking various languages, he has lived and worked in the Philippines, Poland, Bolivia, and Argentina. He is currently assigned to the Marian house in Steubenville, Ohio as formator for the seminarians. He is inspired by the mystery of the Immaculate Conception to live and proclaim the free gift of the mercy of God, which accompanies, protects and guides us from conception until death.
