She's Not Yours

Overview

Rachel grew up with little reference to healthy relationships. Throughout her life, nothing could unblock the trauma imposed by her bipolar grandmother and schizophrenic father until she met her husband, who seemed to be everything she had been waiting for. Her now-perfect life began to feel real when her pregnancy was confirmed. Rachel was on her way home when she was viciously attacked by an Uber driver whom she fatally stabbed in the struggle, and miscarried her baby as a consequence. With the media attention of the tragedy skyrocketing her career to international fame, she finds herself in a place she never could have anticipated. While planning her biggest exhibition of her career, Rachel has a love affair with an ex-boyfriend, yielding the much-longed-after pregnancy, only with the wrong man. Further deepening the drama, her solace comes from the companionship of Nadia, Kazim's pregnant wife. Rachel and Nadia give birth on the same day, cementing their friendship to grow into a successful philanthropic business partnership. Rachel was comfortable with everything under a veil of control until she realised Kayla was falling in love with Leeds. When Leeds rejects her advances on their 18th birthday, Rachel can no longer keep this secret from her daughter. Keyla attempts suicide upon learning her entire life has been a lie. Seeing Kayla on life support unravels the last thread of Rachel's sanity, sending her into a psychiatric ward where we discover the truth of what she has been hiding all these years.
