She Dares is the eighth book of short stories by women in the SHE series exploring the identity and actions of women in different contexts. The word 'dare' is a dynamic term meaning to defy or challenge, but embedded in it above all is a siren call to action. The call-to-action manifests itself sometimes in bold moves and at other times it is the small acts of defiance, quietly executed that have the maximum impact. The stories in this collection pay homage to women across cultures and from the past and present who have pushed and stretched the boundaries of to be daring in unexpected ways.
