Reviews

""Jenny's book is not just a collection of reflections and artwork, it's a mirror, a balm, and a lifeline. Her harrowing journey through abuse, trauma, mental health struggles, and serious health challenges is heartbreaking. And yet, what she's created here is full of grace, honesty, deep supernatural strength and healing. Jenny's story doesn't just speak to the pain, it sings to the soul."" Lavinia Fazackerley (nee Wilson) Author - Where's The Red Button ""On reading Shattering Deception and Revealing Truth, many things crystallised for me in my perception of this gentle but fragile soul. Though we couldn't be more un-alike, my fragility too is real and raw and one I must journey with every day, the touchstones in this work for me were moving at times. Jenny's path of pain and torment is uniquely hers and has exacted an awful toll that she tables in an uncomplicated, but raw and relatable manner - This is the first asset of this journal of growth. The second asset for me in this vulnerable artistic vehicle toward healing is not 'holding on' to victimhood - as hard as that can be. Rather it is calling to the Only True source of restoration and renewal to journey with her out and ever onward to new life. Thank you, Jenny, this matters!"" Shane Varcoe - Disciplesplanet ""Jenny's book invites you into the mystery of love, warmth, injustice, abuse, beauty, dignity, hope, healing and restoration. It warrants a slow, reflective and spacious read. May you find where your story is touched by this mystery."" Stevie Wills Inclusion Vibrancy ""Jenny is a valued member of our church. She is a gifted artist, and her artwork speaks powerfully where words fall short. Jenny's story bears witness to the compassion and healing work of Jesus in our deepest areas of pain. This book will be a blessing and encouragement to many and particularly for those who need to know there is a Saviour who knows, cares, and loves you deeply."" Mark Sayers, Senior Pastor of Red Church, Author Trudi Sayers, Pastor at Red Church, and National Director of 24-7 Prayer Australia ""Jenny's creative work tells a story; a story of pain and vulnerability engulfed by beauty. Beauty like light shining through a broken vessel; a story where defeat meets with victory. One where freedom and joy are found in the midst of pain; where grace and perfect love welcome the broken-hearted; one that is soothing to the soul and healing to the bones. As a trauma therapist, who journeys with people through their pain, I see Jenny's book as a gift of hope. A testimony of God's light shining brightest in the darkest places. To a world bound by
