"John Leone started writing these stories for the enjoyment of his grandchildren. He incorporates many references to songs, showtunes, movies and icons from the 60's, 70's and 80's which make the books popular with the adults. The books have been referred to as ""Children's Books for the Whole Family"". These books have been becoming more and more popular. John is currently working with a local theater who are interested in making a full length stage production of the series."
