"Did you know that no matter where you go or what you are doing, your shadow is falling on someone, and that person is being changed? You may not realize it, but when you're a Christian, God is always working through you to touch the people around you. In ways you may never know, He is using your obedience to build His kingdom. Acts 5:15 tells us, ""People brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter's shadow might fall on some of them as they passed by."" Peter couldn't see it, but while he was walking-face forward, eyes on Jesus-the power of God was breaking loose behind him. The sick were being healed by the simple touch of his shadow as he passed. Jamie Buckingham calls this ""shadow ministry."" In this teaching he tells stories of how, unbeknownst to him at the time, his own shadow has fallen on people and changed lives literally around the world-simply because he was doing what God had called him to do.
