She is the author of several children's picture books, including The Best Treasure and The Elephant in the Sukkah. She is the co-founder of the Koby Mandell Foundation. She lives in Israel. Viviana Garofoli was born in Buenos Aires, in a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood of the Capital. She studied Painting at the Nation School of Fine Arts, graduating in 1994. That same year, she published her first drawings as a children's illustrator. She has illustrated more than 100 children's books and worked with publishers in Argentina, Puerto Rico, Korea, Spain, and the United States.
