Dr. Jeff Ward is a real-life rocket scientist who has designed and built satellites, rockets, and space capsules for SpaceX and NASA. He lives in Denver with his wife (a rabbi), their kids, and a doodle named Luna. Gila von Meissner is an illustrator from North Germany. She lives with her Israeli cat in a tiny house at a lake. She loves critters, jasmine tea, and chocolate.
